"twelve degrees, just as it was found"

The company was founded on the principle of natural spring water being sold as just that - natural.  Bottled from natural springs found on Cairnfern, it is noticeable how refreshing the untouched spring water is.

False advertising in the bottled water industry has become a contentious issue, with suppliers claiming one thing, and providing a very different product.

Twelve degrees is the temperature at which spring water emerges from the ground, as well as the ideal temperature to drink bottled water. Our mission is to limit all processes between spring and bottle, as nature made it right first time.

The spring water straight from the source has been thoroughly tested and accepted by the CSIR, thus fine particle filtration is all that is needed before the spring water is placed in a bottle.

There is a big difference between Bottled water and bottled Water.  Cairnfern farm makes use of springs far from any source of pollution, to bring you natural spring water in the form of twelve degrees.

twelve degrees is bottled using premium 750ml and 250ml glass bottles.

With increasing "Green Awareness" amongst companies, twelve degrees offers a unique recycling service where water can be delivered to the company, and once the order has been consumed, we will collect the empty bottles and replace them with a new batch.  The pricing structure of this set-up can be seen to be competitive with standard plastic bottles from other water companies which cannot compare with the aesthetics and health benefits of a glass bottle.

More people are realising how detrimental plastic bottles can be to one's health if repeatedly used - which amounts to the same effect as plastic bottles being left in direct sunlight or other heat sources before being delivered to you.  Cold temperatures have been found to be even worse for plastic components leaching into the water.

What most people are not aware of, is the extreme footprint that the production of one plastic bottle has on the environment. In the production of a one litre plastic bottle, many more litres of water are used and wasted, than what is finally put in the bottle.
